Method
How to read the figures
ZPL statistics are based on data from member companies. ZPL and associated organisations represent most of the market, but not every leasing company, so the figures do not cover 100% of leasing in Poland. The values refer to new financing granted in the period (net asset values), not to the portfolio of running contracts. ZPL usually publishes full-year data at the beginning of the following year; always quote the period and the source.
Takeaways
What it means for businesses
- Leasing is mainly for SMEs. About 70% of financed investment goes to small and medium-sized enterprises, so products and procedures are tailored to them.
- Leasing loans are growing faster than leasing. In a leasing loan your business owns the asset from day one - see how leasing works.
- Heavy transport is recovering after weaker years, with heavy-vehicle financing up 21.8% in three quarters of 2026.
If you plan to finance an asset, see machinery and equipment leasing or send a leasing inquiry.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Does market growth mean leasing is easier to get?
Not necessarily. Growth partly reflects higher asset prices and business investment. Each application is assessed individually by the leasing company.
Are consumer leases included?
ZPL data also cover financing for consumers, but their share is small - the Polish leasing market is predominantly business finance.
